Another fantastic Club Competition was had at Glyncornel Lake Tonypandy...
May 2009

Recently, Glyncornel A.A. members enjoyed another fantastic day fishing at Glyncornel Lake Tonypandy when they entered the second of six 2009 club competitions. In perfect fishing conditions almost all of the 21 entries caught good bags of Rainbow Trout and with the catch rate being consistent throughout the day it made for a very competitive competition.

The biggest fish of the day (4lb 10oz) went to Ian Jones (Vice Chairman) who also went on to win the competition with a heaviest bag (4 fish) of 13lb 02oz.

Congratulations also to new member Tina Jones for catching her first ever Rainbow Trout during the competition. Tina who is originally from America had no experience of fly fishing until she recently joined Glyncornel A.A.
