IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ANYONE WISHING TO FISH DARRAN PARK LAKE.

June 2006

We have received a number of phone calls and emails from disgruntled anglers who have complained about Darran Park Lake being closed to fishing this season.

Glyncornel Angling Association would like to clarify that it was not a decision made by the club to stop the fishing this year at the lake, but was in fact a decision made by the council.
Please be reassured that Glyncornel Angling Association did everything in their powers to try to keep the lake open this year, but unfortunately the Council were final with their decision.

Those people wishing to complain about this decision should voice their concerns directly to the Council, as Glyncornel Angling Association has no involvement with Darren Park Lake at this time.

Ian Jones,
Vice Chairman.
