About Glyncornel Angling Association

Junior member Kyle Moyle (13), snatched first position in the May 2006 Club Competition.
May 2006
Junior member Kyle Moyle (13), snatched first position in the May 2006 Club Competition by just 1 ounce. Kyle started off slow in the morning, but came back mid-afternoon with some very good quality fish.
2nd position went to Terry Bassett, closely followed by P.C. Davies.
1st position changed so many times through the day that it was difficult to keep track with the positions.
I'm sure that all of the 16 members who fished the May comp would agree that the day was most enjoyable. The weather was hot and sunny for most of the day, until the heavens opened up at 5:30pm. The rain didn't last though, and the evening turned out to be just as good as the morning. Take a look at the photographs I've added to the "gallery" to see some of the action from the day.
Tight lines!
Ian Jones,
(Vice Chairman)
P.s. Membership is down this year, so please do everything you can to promote the club. With the fishing this good... you'd be mad not to join! |
